Anal cancer

Cancers of the anal canal and perianal region are rare, representing about 2% of colorectal cancer according to Staumont and Suduca, 2000.

A polymorphic presentation, sometimes falsely reassuring, often delays the diagnosis despite the immediate access to the anatomical situation. Diagnosis is based on rigorous examination before any proctology anal symptoms and biopsy - excision of any unusual lesions are made.
